Tuesday August 26th 2008 Paul Lee with another sweet fish! Book early and book often!!! Tuesday August 26th 2008 Fished a three hour recon mission for stripers. MISSION COMPLETE! 12 Stripers to 12 pounds on the troll with Tu-i chub Trophy Sticks. Repeat client Paul Lee of Wilton Ca put the boots to them tonight! Saturday August 16th 2008 California Valley Anglers Kokanee Derby at New Melones - Fishing was tough and the weather was hot but we did manage three limits and the three that we used in the derby weigh in, came up one ounce short of a tenth place finish. Saturday August 9th 2008 Returning client Wes Nail brings along two of his friends Gerome Reginato and Len Ayres for 5 Halibut. Saturday Night / Sunday Morning July 26th 2008 Beat the heat with a late night kitty cat bite out of Arrowhead on Miner Slough for a fifty cat night. Nothing big but a steady pick all night. Wednesday July 23 2008 Fished out of Berkeley with two of my regular clients Paul Lee and Calvin Langsford for four Halibut and four stripers. Saturday July 12th 2008 CIFF New Melones Kokanee derby. Fished with buddies Mike Gibson and Greg Stinson. We did pick up limits but not enough size to get on the podium. 4th of July Weekend Bodega Bay 4th of July Weekend 2008 Took some time off and fished out of Bodega Bay and picked up some nice early season Lings and Vermillion. Sunday June 29th 2008 Fished James Cyr and his son Dan and his buddy Robert. Only ended up with one keeper and a bunch of shakers. Thursday June 26th 2008 Capt. Mike with a nice 17lb Halibut Wednesday Evening June 18th 2008 Fished two of my regular clients Tom Hardy and Patrick Chand of Rancho Murrieta on the lower American for Shad. Landing 5 of 16 hook ups with many long distance release, due to the higher flows and ultra light tackle, these fish were able to shake free before landing. Saturday June 14th 2008 Fished out of Berkeley on a Fathers Day trip with Russell Neidigh and Ty Higdon who took their Fathers for a Halibut trip, bringing home 8 Halibut to 9.7 lbs. With 4 times as many shakers. Capt. Mike forgot the camera. Hey we are all human and we all make mistakes. Monday June 9th 2008 Evening American River shad trip with Roy Arsitio of Suisun and his son Napoleon of Fresno fished with ISF with increased water flows that increased our catch. Landing 17 out of 24 with the majority being bigger females. Sorry for no pictures, clients didn't want to slow down long enough as the bite was on. Saturday June 7th 2008 Johnny Goodman of Pleasant Grove Ca. with one of his halibut. Saturday June 7th 2008 Three clients fishing the North Bay for Halibut out of Berkeley with 8 halibut up to 24 pounds, 6 drifting bait- 2 on the troll. Wes Nail of Sacramento caught this nice 24 pound halibut. T Friday June 6th 2008 Morning American River shad trip- ended up with 8 small males. River flow very slow.
